Here are the details on how you can help support FurBuy as we attempt to transition into a community-supported business model. Anyone and everyone is welcome to participate in this support project, which will help move FurBuy to a new business model and fund it's survival for years to come if all goes well. NOTICE: (Apr 28, 2009) We have updated the status bar at the top of each page to show the total money we've actually received now rather than what was pledged or we expected to come in. Hence the recent 'dip' in the total. But this is actually very good news, it means we're well on-track to meet and exceed our goals, which means we'll be able to bring you some extra features. Support Auctions
In order to help raise money and include the bidder population in the support process, support auctions can help bring in needed finances by sellers offering items or commissions to be bid on and donate an amount of their choice. Sellers whose support auctions lead to $25 or more of support for FurBuy in total will include a 12-month Contributing Membership account upgrade (starting from the time that system is available) along with a unique Title of "Early Contributor" (titles are another new feature coming soon). Bidders who contribute $50 or more through their winning bid contributions in total will also receive the 12-month Contributing Member account upgrade and unique Title.

Use these guidelines in creating and setting up your support auctions:
Direct Support
If you do not wish to auction items or services or you do not wish to bid on the support auctions, you may also donate directly to FurBuy. We would prefer pledges until we have a better idea of the total support at the end of the month, however you can send a donation directly using Paypal to admin (dash) team (at) furbuy (dot) com or by clicking the button below - if we do not receive enough support to proceed with converting FurBuy, we will refund all payments in early May. Donating at least $25 directly will also grant you the above mentioned 12-month Contributing Membership and unique Title for this project. If you wish to make a pledge you can pay by early May, please contact us using the e-mail address here to let us know you wish to pledge support.
