I was born in Connecticut and raised on a steady diet of comic books, cartoons , science fiction and fantasy. And roadkill. No , never ate any , but you see a lot in semi rural CT... Upon studying Illustration at the Paier College of Art , I was educated in painting and drawing in traditional media. Since then I've discovered an appreciation of most every form of art and illustration. I've also studied and worked a bit in animation, and have done costume and puppet creation for video, plus design and construction for the stage. I have most enjoyed painting covers for Radio Comix, Shanda Fantasy Arts , Mu Press and other publishers, having drawn numerous comic stories for them as well. Master of the lost art of comic book lettering by hand. I'm always ready to discuss commercial assignments including painting, black and white art , character design, and a few comics here and there.
